What’s going on? According to the US patent office, the Blue Oval published trademark documents for a “billboard interfaces for vehicle displays” system. In more detail: Ford wants to create a “method for generating a billboard interface for a vehicle display [that] includes obtaining, via a camera, an image of a billboard and identifying, via a processor, a segment of the image.” “The example method also includes communicating, via a communication module, the billboard interface to a vehicle display for presentation to a user,” the patent reads....

Numerous reports claim Search result pages aren’t completely rendering, randomly leaving a “white wall” at the bottom. The issue has persisted for at least “the past few days,” according to users on Twitter. Indeed, one user on Google’s support forums claims having experienced the issue as early as July 20. It appears the bug affects a wide range of devices, with users reporting having trouble rendering Search results on Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S10 lineups, and even Google’s own Pixel series....

The app is launching a feature called Timelapse that lets you see how the planet is changing over the years, gathering millions of satellite images from 1984 to 2020. Some of these visuals are stunning — and terrifying, in the cases where they show our planet’s waning forests and global warming. The researchers, Natalie Silvanovich and Samuel Groß, who work with Google’s security task force Project Zero have so far released details for only five out of the six bugs found, ZDNet reports.
